After a 2 year hiatus and mammoth search for a world-beating female soul singer Pama Intl are back with a brand new line up, sound, singles, album & that very singer in January 2013! Their first album back - Pama Intl - Soulfire! see’s them move away from their Jamaican influences & as the title suggests into blazin’ soul territory. A raw and rawkus rhythm & blues/southern soul assault, that draws from Stax, Otis, Aretha, Ike & Tina and in true Pama fashion makes it their very own.

Their first 10 years saw Pama Intl release 9 albums, record 3 Radio One sessions and pick up regular airplay from Radio 2, BBC6, Kiss100 and xfm. Their collective and collaborative nature saw them work with members of The Specials, Madness, Style Council, Steel Pulse, Galliano, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Pop Will Eat Itself, Billy Bragg, Wrongtom, Mad Professor, Mungos Hi Fi and JA legends - Derrick Morgan, Rico Rodriguez, Dennis Alcaponne, Dawn Penn and Dave & Ansel Collins. Live they played with The Clash’s Mick Jones, The Specials, Madness, Toots & The Maytals, Prince Buster, Lee Perry, Jimmy Cliff, Max Romeo and at festivals galore: Glastonbury, Bestival, Big Chill, Boomtown Fair, Womad, Wickerman, Beautiful Days, Respect, Larmer Tree and Guilfest festivals to name a few.

Not content to keep his sound to the music world alone Pama Intl’s writer Sean Flowerdew work has been featured on nine British and Hollywood film soundtracks. The most successful being ‘Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels’ and most recently last years US blockbuster ‘Fool’s Gold’ starring Kate Hudson.

Select clubs shows are now being booked for January & March 2013, to promote a series of new singles, with their ninth studio album Soulfire! scheduled for a summer release.
